Weekly Watch Roundup
The introduction of a new community + weekly deals
Last week, my watch dealer (NYC) sent me a great deal on a Rolex Daytona “Panda.” I didn’t want it, but as a favor, shared it on Instagram.
I received more than 300 DMs from people looking for this watch, and ended up connecting my dealer with several people who then transacted on Rolex, AP, and Patek - at a price below “market” and more in line with what dealers charge each other secondary.

It was an all-around mutually beneficial and fun experience. Watch people are generally pretty cool (and successful), with many shared interests - real estate, markets, crypto, private equity, politics, etc.
The egagment was off the charts, so the enthusiasm is clearly there. But I don’t want my social media footprint to be devoured by watches. Nor do I have the time to respond to or engage with the volume of DMs and inquiries.
That’s why - with a couple of dealers - we’re going to start putting out a Weekly Watch Roundup, covering news, trends, and offering deals on high-end watches.
The goal here is to build up a community of like-minded people. So we’re also going to be hosting card-behind-the-bar meetups, starting next month in New York City and Miami.
This is also a better forum for communicating with me, the network of dealers, and for sourcing or trading a watch directly. I’m not trying to monetize this or stand in the way; I just want to have fun and build out a community.
Here are a few curated deals I like this week, below market price:
Rolex GMT “Pepsi” (2022): $18,500
Rolex Submariner (2023 new): $14,500
Audemars Piguet 15400ST Black (2018): $33,000
Patek Philippe 5270G Blue (2015 factory sealed): $150,000
Patek Philippe 5712/1A Blue (2023 new): $135,000
Rolex Submariner “Cookie Monster” White Gold (2020): $39,000
Patek Philippe 5980/1A Blue (2013): $107,000
Patek Philippe 5976/1G White Gold (Limited 1,300 pieces): $520,000
Rolex GMT “Sprite” (2022): $23,000
Audemars Piguet Black Ceramic 26238CE (2023 new) $145,000
To inquiry on any of these or to get connected with the dealer, send a DM or email me: [email protected].
These guys are also sitting eight-figure inventory, specializing in Patek, AP, Rolex, and Richard Mille, so feel free to establish a relationship directly with them. All I ask is that you not waste their time. Most of these watches are hard to souce, so obviously, do not expect close to MSRP or AD pricing.
The realistic objective here is to leverage the strength of my relationship and the power of this community to get below-market pricing.
